Make A Difference

Volunteers make the difference in the lives of all the families that come through our doors – by cooking, by cleaning, by listening, by nurturing, by simply being there and helping. Volunteers are the backbone of the Ronald McDonald House of Amarillo. Many families each year are helped by RMHA. With a small staff, we are dependent largely on our wonderful volunteers who are compassionate, dedicated, and sensitive to the needs of our families.

Volunteering at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo is easy. Hours are flexible and we encourage you to volunteer doing things that maximize your talents. We have volunteer opportunities at two different locations: Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room at Northwest Texas Hospital.

Individuals or groups can enjoy fun and rewarding experiences by volunteering their time and talents. We want to give all of our volunteers a special thank you and recognize their extraordinary efforts of helping children and their families. We couldn’t do it without you!
