Our Relationship

With McDonald’s

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo Founding Partner since 1981.

From the moment we opened the Ronald McDonald House of Amarillo in 1983, the surrounding McDonald’s owners from the Texas Panhandle, New Mexico and Oklahoma have helped support families with sick kids with their monetary and in-kind donations. McDonald’s corporation and its vendors partner with our area restaurants and with our charity by sharing their varied resources.

McDonald’s support extends from sponsoring events, sharing products and volunteering, to cause related marketing promotions and the space to place RMHC of Amarillo donation boxes that raise money for families that must travel to Amarillo seeking medical care. McDonald’s has helped us positively impact over eight thousand children and their families, and continues to provide valuable resources and support to help us expand our programs and services.

Although the McDonald’s system is our largest corporate partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.  RMHC of Amarillo relies on the support of the entire community and greatly values donations from the community, corporate partners and individuals.
